The silver bowl has a sunflower petal-shaped mouth, a flat belly and a ring foot. Its inside surface and bottom are engraved with gilded designs. On the bottom are two birds flying amidst flowers, encircled by bowstring, cord and flower-petal designs. The inside surface is decorated with patterns of jade pendants and gilded flowers and leaves, in pairs facing each other. Along the rim is a pattern of petals, alternately facing different directions.
