On June 9, Luo Wenli, Director of the National Museum of China, met with Katherine McMahon, Director of the National Museum of Australia, who came to Beijing for the Fourth Global Museum Directors Forum. The two sides held in-depth discussions on deepening exchanges and cooperation, focusing on exhibition exchanges, reciprocal visits by professionals between the two museums, and the establishment of a directors' dialogue mechanism between museums of the two countries.
Following the meeting, the two directors signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the National Museum of China and the National Museum of Australia.
Ding Pengbo, Deputy Director of the National Museum of China, and representatives from the Australian Embassy in China attended the meeting.
