Dear visitors,

With the 2026 Spring Festival holiday approaching, the National Museum of China (NMC) will adjust our opening schedule to accommodate visitors during this festive period. Please find detailed arrangements as follows:

• Monday, February 16 (Chinese New Year's Eve): Closed.
• Sunday, February 15, and
Tuesday, February 17- Monday, February 23: Open as usual.
Opening hours remain 9:00-17:00, with last admission at 16:00.

During the Spring Festival period, our museum will continue to implement a mandatory real-name reservation policy for all visitors. You may book your free admission ticket up to 7 days in advance via the official website of the NMC. On the day of your visit, please be advised that visitors are required to enter the Museum at the reserved time slot, queue in an orderly manner, and present your IDs for verification at the entrance. Inside the museum, please keep your noise to a minimum and be mindful of fellow visitors while viewing exhibitions, and help create a harmonious and pleasant visiting environment for all.

To ensure a fair and safe experience for all visitors, the NMC will continue to work with public security authorities to take strict action against unauthorized ticket reselling (scalping) and unapproved guided tours within the premises. We also remind visitors to book tickets only through our official channels to avoid personal information leaks, fraud, or financial losses.
