As the 2025 National Day holiday approaches, in order to meet the cultural needs of the public during the holiday, the National Museum of China hereby announces the following opening arrangements:

The Museum will maintain normal operating hours from October 1 to 8, 2025 during the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays.

The Museum will be closed on Monday, September 29, 2025 for routine maintenance. And in coordination with activities taking place in the Tian'anmen area, the Museum will be closed on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.

The Museum implements a real-name reservation policy for all visitors. Admission tickets can be reserved free of charge within seven days prior to your visit via the official website of the National Museum of China. Please be advised that visitors are required to enter the Museum at the reserved time slot, queue in an orderly manner, and present your IDs for verification. To ensure a harmonious and comfortable environment for all, we kindly ask you keep your voice down and maintain a quiet, orderly atmosphere while visiting the exhibitions. 

To safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of visitors and to maintain normal visiting order, the Museum will continue to work with public security authorities to strictly crack down on illegal ticket scalping. Visitors are kindly reminded not to make reservations through unofficial channels to avoid the risk of personal information leaks, scams, or financial losses.
