The opening hours of the National Museum of China during the 2021 National Day holiday are as follows:
The NMC will open to the public from October 1 to October 7. Its opening hours are from 9:00 to 17:00 (last admission at 16:00).
In accordance with the central government’s regulations on conducting regular epidemic prevention, during the National Day holiday, all visitors must make online appointments (with different time slots available), while the number of daily visitors is capped at 12,000. The available time slots and reservation capacities are as follows: 3,500 visitors from 9:00 to 10:00; 4,500 visitors from 10:00 to 13:30; 4,000 visitors from 13:30 to 15:30.
Visitors must book a time slot with their ID card or passport in advance and show their real-time Health Code status (or apply in advance for the Code through the WeChat mini-program "北京健康宝 Beijing Health Kit"), undergo health checks, and show no signs of abnormality prior to entering the museum. Visitors must wear masks throughout their visit and behave in an orderly manner.
