A Fruitful Art Career: The Centenary Art Exhibition of Shi Lu
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Mr. Shi Lu, who is one of the outstanding revolutionary artists fostered by the Communist Party of China when it was based in Yan’an. He has achieved a lotin many art fields, and has developed his own style in the aspects of landscape painting, figure painting, flower & bird painting, calligraphy, seal, poetry, literature and artistic theory, etc.His artworks have distinctive characteristics, a strong sense of the times and are forward-looking. The exhibition marking the 100th anniversary of Mr. Shi Lu is expected to actively promote the researches on and commemoration of him as well as the development of the Chinese fine arts.
